Agreement and App Store licence
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Matias Martire, the provider of Ready (“Ready”, “we”, or “us”), when you download, access, or use the Ready iPhone app or this website.
The app is licensed, not sold. Your App Store licence is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which is incorporated into these terms. These terms supplement that agreement. If they conflict, Apple’s Standard EULA controls to the extent required.
If you do not agree, do not use Ready.

What Ready does
Ready is a local-first organization tool for personal and household documents. It can store encrypted copies, suggest structured details extracted on-device, organize information by person, and schedule reminders.
Ready v1 is offered without charge and does not require an account. Features may vary by device, iOS version, language, region, permissions, and the availability of Apple system capabilities.

Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- use Ready lawfully and only with information you have the right to store;
- obtain any permission needed before adding another person’s documents or personal information;
- protect your device, passcode, Apple Account, and backups;
- review extracted names, numbers, dates, document types, and reminders for accuracy; and
- keep original documents and use official sources when proof or current requirements matter.
You may not misuse Ready, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to violate another person’s privacy or rights.

Important limitations
Always verify important information. Scanning, OCR, Apple Intelligence, date recognition, classification, search, and reminders can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong.
Ready is not an official identity document, credential issuer, digital wallet, government service, insurer, travel authority, medical service, or legal adviser. It does not determine whether a document is legally valid or whether you meet official travel, immigration, insurance, health, or other requirements.
Do not rely on Ready as the only copy of a document or as the only reminder for a deadline. Ready currently has no server backup or recovery service.

Privacy and device permissions
Ready’s handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. You choose whether to grant camera, photo, biometric, file, and notification access. Some features will not work without the relevant permission.

Your content and Ready’s ownership
You retain your rights in the documents and information you add. You give Ready only the permission needed to process that content locally on your device to provide the features you request.
Ready’s app, website, design, branding, software, and original content are owned by the provider or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The licence granted to you does not transfer ownership.

Availability, updates, and changes
We may improve, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features, including to maintain security, comply with law, or adapt to Apple platform changes. We do not promise that Ready will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device.
Updates may be required for continued use. If these terms materially change, the updated version and effective date will be published here.

Termination
You may stop using Ready at any time. You can erase the vault in Ready’s Settings and uninstall the app. Your licence ends automatically if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue—such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—survive termination.

Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ready is provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss caused by inaccurate extraction, missed reminders, device loss, deletion, lack of backup, or reliance on Ready instead of an official source. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by applicable law.

General terms
Mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live remain unaffected. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement except where the law permits; we may transfer it as part of a lawful reorganization or transfer of Ready.
