No ReadyLife cloud copy
The company behind ReadyLife does not receive the contents of your vault in v1.
PRIVATE DOCUMENT VAULT FOR IPHONE
A private document vault for iPhone with on-device encryption, Face ID protection and no ReadyLife account or cloud database.
THE SHORT ANSWER
ReadyLife stores document images, files and structured details in an encrypted local vault. The encryption key is protected by the iOS Keychain and unlocked through Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode. ReadyLife v1 has no account, server vault, advertising SDK or cloud sync.
The company behind ReadyLife does not receive the contents of your vault in v1.
iOS authenticates access to the encryption key without giving ReadyLife your biometric data.
The app includes no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not require an account.
01
Many document products begin by creating an online account and uploading files to a service. ReadyLife v1 takes a narrower approach: the vault lives on the iPhone where you added it. There is no ReadyLife login, remote document database or web dashboard containing your files.
The website’s hosting provider necessarily receives ordinary web request information when you visit this site, but that is separate from the iPhone vault. The app does not transmit your documents, extracted text, household profiles or usage analytics to ReadyLife.
02
ReadyLife encrypts structured vault information and document files using AES-GCM. Its encryption key is protected in the iOS Keychain and requires Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode. Document files also use iOS complete file protection, adding the operating system’s protection while the device is locked.
The app locks when it moves to the background, helping prevent sensitive information from remaining casually visible when you switch apps or hand someone your phone.
03
ReadyLife uses Apple system frameworks to recognize document text and, when available, Apple Intelligence to suggest structured details. Search also runs locally after the vault is unlocked. This design keeps the most sensitive processing close to the data rather than sending scans to a ReadyLife service.
Automated recognition can still make mistakes. ReadyLife asks you to check suggested names, identifiers and dates before saving, and important information should always be verified against the original document.
04
A service cannot recover data it never receives. ReadyLife’s vault directory is excluded from device backups in v1, and the app currently offers no cloud sync or recovery. If the device is lost, damaged, erased or inaccessible, the ReadyLife vault cannot be restored by the developer.
That limitation is stated plainly because secure storage should not create false confidence. Keep official originals, do not treat ReadyLife as the only copy of something irreplaceable, and use the app as a protected organizer rather than an archival system.
